Golfer Tiger Woods Flour Ball Sold for $64K
The golf ball, which the world-famous golfer Tiger Woods gave to a 9-year-old boy at the 1997 Masters tournament, found a buyer for over $64 thousand at auction.
According to the BBC’s report, the ball, which was put up for auction on March 27 with an initial bid of $500, was sold for $64,124 as the auction ended yesterday.
The 1997 Masters was Woods’ first major title, making him the youngest player to win the Masters.
The championship in question determined the course of Woods’ career.
The Golden Age auction house announced that the ball was probably the only ball left from the final.
