The new Peugeot e-308 draws attention with its new electric motor offering 156 hp and a battery with a new chemical composition containing 80% Nickel-10% Manganese-10% Cobalt.

The French brand, which launched the new Peugeot 308 for sale in Turkey in October 2022, is preparing to hit the roads in our country as of 2023 in its fully electric version called the e-308.

The electric Peugeot e-308 will be available with a new electric motor producing 115 kW (156 HP) and a range of over 400 km (WLTP standard), depending on trim level.

The design of the new Peugeot e-308 is based on both Peugeot DNA and its dynamic and high-class world. The long front hood refines the silhouette. In addition, the brand’s new logo is proudly displayed in the middle of the grille. The overall optimization of the architecture contributes to the spaciousness of the interior. At the front, the lion’s-tooth signature headlight design seamlessly integrates the 308 into the Peugeot family, while framing the Matrix LED headlights.

Similarly, the triple lion claw LED taillights at the rear also emphasize brand loyalty. The new 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels have been specially developed for the all-electric versions of the new Peugeot 308. The new Peugeot e-308 will be available with a new, all-electric motor with 115 kW (156 HP) of power and 260 Nm of torque from the start, providing instantaneous acceleration responses. Thanks to the new engine, the e-308; It offers a quiet, vibration-free and CO2 emission-free drive.

The battery also has a new generation chemistry, using a 54 kWh high voltage (51 kWh usage) battery. The battery, which has a new chemical composition containing 80% Nickel-10% Manganese-10% Cobalt, works with 400 volts and allows a range of up to 400 km according to the WLTP protocol.

The new Peugeot e-308, which is also assertive in terms of efficiency, has achieved a consumption value of 12.7 kWh per 100 km, thanks to the improvements in reducing friction losses such as the engine, battery, aerodynamics, weight optimization and the use of A-class tires. In addition, the driver can choose his driving mode in 3 different ways: Eco, Normal and Sport, in order to manage energy consumption as effectively as possible.

Apart from that, thanks to the “Brake” mode, it can increase deceleration when releasing the accelerator pedal to optimize energy recovery; It can drive with a single pedal. An integrated three-phase charger is supplied as standard and has a power rating of 11 kW. The charging socket is compatible with all charging modes. The battery can be charged up to 80% in less than 25 minutes at a 100kW fast charging point.

The new Peugeot e-308 encourages the driver to drive calmly and safely; Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-Go feature, which maintains a safe following distance, supports it with new generation driving aids such as a long-range blind spot warning system that can detect up to 75 meters, and the Reverse Maneuvering Traffic Alert System, which makes life easier in reverse maneuvers.
