Electric Cars Sold in Turkey and Their Current Prices – November 2022

While electric car options are increasing, we have listed the prices of electric cars sold in Turkey for you. Here are the electric cars on sale in Turkey as of November 2022:

The variety of electric cars sold in Turkey is increasing day by day. Although it is very difficult to own a new vehicle in our country due to the high taxes taken, the prices are curious. This includes electric car prices. What about the prices of electric cars sold in Turkey?

Renault ZOE has assumed the role of the most affordable option for a long time in the electric vehicle market in Turkey, where luxury models are the majority in the first place. Recently, the Citroen e-C4 managed to become the cheapest electric car in Turkey with a price of 786 thousand TL. However, due to the availability problem, it was very difficult to buy the e-C4 at this price, and the price rose to 801 thousand TL in November.

In addition to the Citroen e-C4, models such as the Peugeot e-2008, Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Volvo C40 Recharge have recently been offered for sale in our country. Thus, while the number of electric models increased to around 25, this number is expected to increase even more in 2023. Prices start from around 800 thousand TL and go up to 4-5 million TL with luxury models. Let’s take a look at the price list without further ado:

How many electric cars were sold in Turkey in 2022?

When it comes to electric car prices in Turkey, let’s not forget to mention the electric vehicle sales in our country. According to ODD data, 4,939 electric cars were sold in the first 10 months of 2022 in our country. Thus, the share of electric cars in total sales increased from 0.4 percent to 1.1 percent. This rate is 17 percent in China, 12 percent in Europe and 5 percent in the USA, respectively.
The price list of the Porsche Taycan family, which is officially sold in Turkey, is not published. However, last May, we learned that the entry version starts from 4 million TL. In addition, we can include the Citroen Ami with its 6 kW engine, 75 km range and 224,000 TL price in electric vehicles sold in Turkey.

Towards the end of the year, MG will also launch the facelift ZS EV. In 2023, the number of electric models in Turkey is expected to reach 40. Among them is the Togg C SUV, which is scheduled to go on sale in March.
