Disney Plus Removed Turkish Productions from the Platform

Disney Plus has decided to remove Turkish TV series and movies from the platform in line with its new decision. Details are here!

Entering the broadcasting industry in Turkey a short time ago, Disney Plus surprised the Turkish audience with its new decision. Millions of watched TV shows and movies will no longer be available on the Disney Plus app.

Disney Plus was watched with interest in Turkey due to its many productions from action to entertainment, comedy to drama. The price was average compared to other platforms in terms of performance. Following the decision, Disney Plus did not make any statements about the content that is currently in the shooting process and planned to be released.

What happened?

The Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA) had requested the cancellation of the Atatürk TV series by giving its IMBD address. Upon the reactions, Disney Plus removed the domestic productions first from the USA and then from Turkey.

The decision to be removed received reactions from the television community. Armağan Çağlayan, who revealed his reaction on the subject with a statement from his social media account, said;

“DisneyPlus removed the local content from the channel without any explanation. Moreover, two days ago, it charged my credit card with an annual membership fee, which is twice the annual membership fee. For example, will the original Disney content continue? Will we be able to get our money back? We are also giving money to this platform, someone will make a statement. “Or are our membership coins flying?”
