There were claims on social media that Orhan Gencebay lost his life. Orhan Gencebay responded to the allegations, "Someone made such a joke. A heavy joke. I send my sincerest love and greetings to all my heart friends, my dearest ones. May they rest in peace, Orhan Baba is fine."
False news was shared on social media that artist Orhan Gencebay had passed away.
Altan Gencebay, the son of the master artist, stated that his father was in good health and that the news shared was a lie.
“Somebody Has Played A Heavy Joke”
Orhan Gencebay, the beloved name of Turkish arabesque music, made a statement on the allegations that Orhan Gencebay died.
Gencebay used the following expressions in his statement:
“Thank God, we are fine. Our time has not expired yet, God knows. We are someone who surrenders to our Lord. Whatever He says happens. Thank God. We are doing very well. I send my sincerest love and greetings to those who are worried, may they be happy. Someone must have made such a joke. A heavy joke.
