Datca Public Hospital

Datca is a district in Turkey’s Mugla province.The history of the finds in the Datça Peninsula goes back to 2000 BC. The first known locals are the Carians, and the heyday here is the Dorians. Dorians came to the region through Greece by going south through Thrace in 1000 BC and found Knidos, the center of the Doric civilization, in Burgaz, 1.5 km northeast of today’s Datça district center. Datça is in the Aegean Region as a geographical region. It has a mountainous and rugged terrain. Bozdağ, Kalecik Mountain , Montenegro, Emecik Mountain ,Yarık Mountain constitute the highest points of the Datça Peninsula. 66% of the land is forest area, 18% is sparse scrub and rocky, and only 16% is agricultural land. The Kızlan Plain, Burgaz Plain, Reşadiye Plain and Karaköy, Palamutbükü and Mesudiye, which are the most important coastal plains, are the plains of the district. The part of the peninsula to the west of Datça is called Betçe. The 235 km coastline of the peninsula, which has a surface area of 446 km2, is decorated like lace with 52 bays of all sizes. The land width between the north and south coasts in Balıkaşıran (64 km from Datça), which forms the border between Marmaris and Datça, goes down to 900 meters, while the widest part of the peninsula is 17 km.

The new building of Datça Public Hospital, built by TOKI on the road to Marmaris, is located on a land of 10 thousand 348 square meters and in a total closed area of 6 thousand 179 square meters. The hospital, which consists of two floors and also a basement, has a capacity of 34 beds. Polyclinics, administrative department, dialysis and emergency units are located on the 1st floor of the hospital. X-ray and laboratory are on the first floor. On the second floor, there are service areas, delivery room and operating room.
