Cuban Doctors Announced That They Performed 13 Major Surgeries in Earthquake Zones

The Cuban Embassy in Turkey reported that a team of Cuban surgeons sent to earthquake zones performed 13 surgeries.

In the statement made on the embassy’s Twitter account, it was stated that the team in Kahramanmaraş performed 13 operations in the field of pediatric surgery, including 4 arm amputations, collarbone, hip and shoulder.

The embassy shared the message “The language of love and solidarity overcomes the language barrier”.

After the Kahramanmaraş-centered earthquakes on February 6, Cuba sent a 32-person medical team to the disaster areas.
