Croatia Prepares To Send 14 Helicopters to Ukraine
It was stated that the European Union (EU) country Croatia has started preparations to send 14 helicopters to Ukraine.
According to the news in Jutarnji List, one of the important newspapers of Croatia, preparations for the transfer of 14 helicopters belonging to the Croatian Armed Forces to Ukraine were started, 12 MI 8 MTV-1 type helicopter of the country and 2 MI 8 T type helicopter to Ukraine. .
In the news, it was stated that the helicopters in question had undergone the necessary maintenance in the hangars they were in, and that the helicopters would be ready within 10 days.
It was also stated in the news that the helicopter will be delivered first to Poland and then to Ukraine.
Meanwhile, the Croatian government has kept military support to Ukraine “secret”, while Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic announced that 14 helicopter will be sent to Ukraine in November.
President Zoran Milanovic, known for his opposition to sending military aid to Ukraine, described the situation as “I don’t care”.
