Individuals who reside in the countries of The European Union (EU) and European Free Trade Association outside of where they live, they can bring their registered vehicles to Turkey.
The “Declaration on the Amendment of the General Declaration on Customs Duties Related to Land Vehicles Temporary Imported” of the Ministry of Customs and Trade was published in the Official Gazette and entered into force.
Hereunder, the individuals who are residing in EU countries, the names of places of residence in countries outside the union will be able to bring their vehicles registered in Turkey.
Foreigners who intend to study or study will be able to use the vehicles regardless of the date of registration.
Persons who temporarily leave the country without a vehicle will have to report to the customs office of the vehicle they will bring beforehand so that there will be no grievances during the passport process.
Foreign company partner who is authorized to represent and commit with legal entity, may bring vehicles which have temporary license plate. It will be 30 days for foreign automobiles, minibuses, land vehicles, vans and motorcycles belonging to legal entities to stay in our country.
