A dead body was found on the landing gear of a Turkish Airlines (THY) flight from Amsterdam to Istanbul during technical maintenance
According to the information obtained, the Airbus A330 type plane with TC-JOA registration arrived in Istanbul from Amsterdam at 23.30 yesterday.

According to the news in DHA, the plane landed at Istanbul Airport and was then taken into technical maintenance.
Body Of Stowaway
Meanwhile, the body of a stowaway was found in the landing gear of the plane. Police teams were called to the scene and an investigation was launched.

It was stated that the person whose lifeless body was found was likely to be of African origin.
It is not known whether the stowaway, whose body was found in the compartment where the landing gear is located, hid there on the Amsterdam flight or on previous flights. In addition, the passenger, whose identity has not yet been determined, is of African origin and may have boarded the flight to Banjul (Gambia) on September 10. It is also claimed that the passenger whose body was found by the teams may have been a staff member working at Banjul Airport.
