Baykar, which has made a name for itself in the world with its unmanned aerial vehicles, has achieved another success. Baykar shared the footage of Bayraktar DİHA flying to an operational altitude of 8,000 feet on his official Twitter account. “Bayraktar DİHA 8 thousand feet operational altitude flight” was included in the image shared with the tag of National Technology Move.

Bayraktar DİHA, which was exhibited for the first time at TEKNOFEST, stands out as an aircraft in the Tactical UAV class that can perform activities for reconnaissance and intelligence missions. DİHA can perform automatic cruise flight, autonomous take-off, autonomous landing and semi-autonomous cruise flight. Having a communication range of up to 150 kilometers, Bayraktar DİHA’s low fuel consumption gasoline engine offers high durability.

Bayraktar DİHA will also be able to deploy on the TCG Anadolu Ship. Announced for the first time by BAYKAR Defense in 2019, DİHA is a tactical UAV class aircraft capable of performing activities for reconnaissance and intelligence missions. In the DİHA system, there are many artificial intelligence-based controls such as automatic route tracking, target tracking and detection, tour and return home modes. It also has the ability to maneuver extremely fast, take off quickly in tight spaces and fly without a runway. With these features, it will be used for aerial reconnaissance and covert missions.
