Atakule

Atakule is located above Atakule Botanical Park in Çankaya district. It is one of the places visited by local and foreign tourists coming to Ankara. It attracts attention with its rotating restaurant tower on Atakule, which is a shopping center. It creates a wonderful view. You can visit Atakule, an important tourism destination, and do shopping. The terrace part of the shopping center, which is 125 meters high, is closed today. Atakule Shopping Center is a shopping center in Ankara, famous for its rotating restaurant tower. There are various embassy buildings and 4-6 storey buildings for residential and business purposes around the shopping center, which has full view of the city on Ankara Botanical Park, close to the Presidency and Prime Ministry Houses. The Shopping Center won the monumental tower, after Endem TV tower in Istanbul is Turkey’s tallest tower rotating platform. The plan and project of the modern shopping center was prepared by Architect Ragıp Buluç. The foundations of the shopping center, which was completely built by Kutlutaş Construction Company and Turkish engineers and workers, were laid in 1987 by the Prime Minister Turgut Özal. Atakule offers the amazing view of Ankara and attracts many visitors. It can also be easily seen from many parts of the city since it was built in a high position. The place is one of the iconic architectures of Ankara. It is possible to spend time at the Atakule restaurant at any time of the day. Here you can have a pleasant time with the sunset.
