The Ankara direction of the Anatolian Motorway between Kaynaşlı and Abant is closed to traffic for repairs. Traffic flow in the Ankara direction on the 23-kilometer section between Kaynaşlı and Abant toll booths will be provided via D-100 for 46 days. The Istanbul direction of the highway will be open to traffic.
The 23-kilometer section in the Ankara direction of the Bolu Mountain crossing of the Anatolian Highway was closed for 46 days due to repair works.
Police and highway teams dispatched to Kaynaşlı and Abant junctions in the morning hours directed traffic to the D-100 highway after ensuring road safety with warning signs and bollards.
The section in question (including Bolu Tunnel) was closed to traffic from 11.00 am until 17.00 pm on November 9 for the extension of the tunnel portals in the direction of Kaynaşlı as steel construction and 5 joint replacements on 3 viaducts.
On the 23-kilometer section between Kaynaşlı and Abant toll plazas, traffic flow in the Ankara direction will be provided via the D-100 for 46 days, while the Istanbul direction of the highway will be open to traffic.
