The 2022 FIFA World Cup matches to be held in Qatar between November 20 and December 18, 2022 will be played at 5 different times.

The first 2 matches in the group stage will be played at 13:00, 16:00, 19:00 and 22:00. The last group matches will start at 18:00 and 22:00. The last 16 and quarter-finals will also start at 18:00 and 22:00. The first whistle will sound at 22:00 in the semi-finals, at 18:00 in the 3rd-4th place match, and at 22:00 in the final.

When Does the 2022 FIFA World Cup Start?

The calendar set for the 2022 FIFA World Cup was originally Monday, 21 November 2022. The first match of the host Qatar was expected to be played, but Qatar coincided with the 2nd match in the fixture.

After the mistake, FIFA moved the date of the match between Qatar and Ecuador 1 day forward and changed the start date of the tournament to Sunday, November 20, 2022. The start time of the match is 18:00.

When is the 2022 FIFA World Cup Final?

The 2022 FIFA World Cup final, in which 32 countries will compete, will be played on Sunday, December 18 at the Lusail Iconic Stadium.

The most suitable time for the whole world to watch live is 18:00 CET.
