YouTube is introducing the ability to respond to “Super Chat” messages to increase interaction between creators and viewers. Here are the details!
In 2017, YouTube introduced the distinctive Super Chat feature for the first time. Viewers who purchased featured messages to attract the attention of creators could stand out from the crowd in the chat stream and ensure that their messages reached more people.
A brand new function has been added to the Super Chat feature used to interact with viewers in live broadcasts. Content creators will now be able to respond directly to viewers who send Super Chat messages, engage in conversations with them, and take live broadcast dynamics to a whole new level.
Responding to YouTube “Super Chat” Messages
YouTube said it has begun testing the ability to respond to Super Chat in live broadcasts and first impressions. This new feature is currently only being rolled out to a small group of users and is in the testing phase.
If you’re someone who has the new feature Super Chat, when you reply to a Super Chat message in a live stream or preview, your reply will now be visible to everyone, just like a live chat message.

YouTube also said that testing of the Super Chat reply feature is nearing completion and will be rolled out more widely in the coming months.
