Game Pass Core replaces Xbox Live Gold
As you know, Xbox Live Gold has been offered to users for a long time with advantages such as free games and discount opportunities every month. However, this service may be shelved very soon. According to the notification on the Korean forums, Xbox Live Gold will be replaced by Xbox Game Pass Core as of September 1, 2023.
As reported, Game Pass Core will offer access to over 25 games in addition to multiplayer game support. These games include games like Fallout 76, Dishonored 2, DOOM Eternal, and Elder Scrolls Online. In addition, users will be offered special deals and discounts for various games, just like Live Gold.
However, existing Live Gold members will automatically upgrade to Xbox Game Pass Core. In addition, free games purchased by users will also be transferred to this subscription. As you know, Xbox Game Pass fees have been greatly increased last June, and Game Pass Console is 79.99 TL, Ultimate is 120.99 TL and Xbox Live Gold membership is 80 TL per month.
