Wounded hawk found in Istanbul
A wounded hawk was found in Arnavutköy, Istanbul. It is thought that the hawk was shot with a gun. The injured hawk will be taken under treatment by the teams of Istanbul Provincial Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks.
An injured hawk was found in Arnavutköy district of Istanbul.
Citizens who saw the wounded hawk determined that it was wounded on its wing when they approached the animal. The hawk is thought to have been shot with a gun.
Citizens who took the wounded animal under protection notified the Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks.
Explaining the incident, Bekir Çağrıldı said, “We will keep it in the box until the teams arrive because it gets very aggressive when we leave it. Its eyes are also very frightening and I saw it up close for the first time.”
The injured hawk will be taken under treatment by the teams of Istanbul Provincial Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks.
