The Foreign Ministry reacted to the insulting statements of Wolfgang Kubicki, the Deputy Speaker of the German Parliament, against President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Tanju Bilgic, condemned the statements of Wolfgang Kubicki, Deputy Speaker of the German Parliament, regarding President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in the strongest terms.
In his written reply to the question about the statements of the Deputy Speaker of the German Parliament Kubicki about President Erdogan, Bilgic said, “The insulting expressions used by Wolfgang Kubicki, the Deputy Speaker of the Federal Parliament of Germany, about our President, in a speech he made within the scope of the Lower Saxony State election campaign. We condemn it in the strongest possible terms.” used the phrases.
Emphasizing that these unacceptable statements of Kubicki are not worthy of the aforementioned parliamentary vice-president position, and that he is completely devoid of political morality and responsibility, Bilgic noted that these inappropriate statements essentially give an idea about Kubicki’s political and moral level and reveal his vulgarity.
Bilgic said, “Our strong reaction on this issue was also reported to the German Ambassador to Ankara, who was summoned to our Ministry today.” used the phrase.
According to reports in the German press, Kubicki insulted President Erdogan by calling him a “sewage rat”.
