Which Countries Established Field Hospitals in Turkey?

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs shared the number of hospitals established by countries and the materials they sent.
Work continues day and night to heal the wounds in the earthquake region in Turkey.
In addition to the search and rescue teams they sent, many countries stood by the disaster victims with various materials.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs shared the latest data on the aid in kind delivered to Turkey with the coordination of foreign representative offices following the earthquakes, the epicenter of which was the Pazarcik and Elbistan districts of Kahramanmaras.
28 Countries Established 31 Field Hospitals
The Ministry made a graphic sharing on its Twitter account with in-kind donations. Accordingly, 28 countries established 31 field hospitals in earthquake zones.
So far, 109 thousand 574 tents, 246 living containers and 1500 mobile hygiene units have been brought to Turkey.
Blanket, Sleeping Bag, Bed…
Within the scope of in-kind aid, 1 million 499 thousand 207 blankets, 211 thousand 839 sleeping bags, 80 thousand 824 beds, 26 thousand 622 generators, 5 thousand 928 tons of clothing, 3 thousand 222 tons of hygiene medical supplies and 5 thousand 746 tons of food reached Turkey.

Tent Production Continues
On the other hand, tent manufacturers are working hard for the earthquake zone. The production of “insulated tents” was accelerated in order to urgently meet the shelter and heating needs of earthquake victims.
Citizens will be hosted in container houses as well as tent cities until their new homes are built.

Work Started for 855 Houses
Meanwhile, Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Minister Murat Kurum stated that the first excavation was carried out for 855 houses to be built in Gaziantep’s Nurdagi and Islahiye districts by TOKİ.
Minister Kurum stated that they immediately started to work in the places where they signed the contracts and completed the ground survey works.
