WHEN WILL UNIVERSITIES OPEN?

YÖK President Erol Özvar made statements about the opening date of universities. Özvar said in a statement;

“We completed our work in April to switch to face-to-face education. If President Erdogan gives instructions, we can switch to face-to-face and hybrid education at universities next month.”

According to this; Having completed its studies on universities, YÖK will resume face-to-face education in universities in April if President Erdoğan gives instructions.

DISTANCE EDUCATION DECISION ABOUT UNIVERSITIES

After the earthquake in Kahramanmaraş, YÖK announced that the 2022-2023 academic year will be conducted with online education until the next announcement.

The distance education decision will be reviewed at the beginning of April 2023. If the conditions are suitable, YÖK will evaluate the blended (hybrid) teaching methods.
