WhatsApp recently rolled out a new feature called “Channels” that allows users to create one-way communication channels for large, anonymous interactions. These channels work differently than standard chats, allowing admins to share various types of content, such as text, images, videos, stickers, and polls, while maintaining privacy for both admins and followers.
How Does The New Feature Improve Conversation Flow?
The latest WhatsApp beta (2.23.20.20), available through the Google Play Beta Program, introduces a new feature called the “quick reply bar”. According to WABetaInfo, the feature improves the flow and context of conversations by allowing users to quickly respond to images, videos and GIFs without leaving the current screen. It aims to minimize interruptions and improve the overall user interaction experience.
To access this feature, simply install the latest WhatsApp beta update from the Google Play Store, but you can also wait a little longer to experience the feature in the stable release.
WhatsApp is also working to improve the user experience with a series of updates, including shortcuts to easily add participants to group calls and the introduction of “Flows” to improve in-app shopping experiences.
