WhatsApp announced that it is working on a third-party messaging feature for Android users. A screenshot of the feature was shared. Here are the details!

WhatsApp announced that it is working on a new feature. The feature, which has been aimed at making it easier for users to communicate for some time, is still under development, but is being tested in beta for Android users.

The popular instant messaging app was previously testing the third-party messaging innovation in the iOS beta version. This feature was being developed to comply with European Union regulations.

Now there has been a development regarding the Android beta version of the feature. A screenshot of how the feature will look on Android devices was shared.

WhatsApp Third Party Messaging Feature Coming
As you can see from the screenshot, a separate chat screen and tab is being developed for a future feature. Since the profile name and photos are not used in third-party chats, a default photo and chat source name will be displayed instead.

The feature, which is still in development, will be presented to users with a warning by WhatsApp, as spam or fraud attempts may increase during third-party messaging.

Stating that end-to-end encryption will also be different in this feature, officials underline that user data will be processed differently. With this feature, it will be quite easy to communicate even if the person you want to talk to has a WhatsApp account.
