WhatsApp Adds New Feature to Its Camera: Recording from the App Gets Easier!

Last year, WhatsApp released an update for iOS users that enabled hands-free video recording within the app. This allowed users to record videos more easily without having to hold down the button.
WhatsApp is focusing on adding new options to make using the camera more convenient. WaBetaInfo noticed that the zoom feature for the camera will be available after the new beta update for iOS.
What is the WhatsApp Camera Zoom Feature?
The feature that beta users are currently testing comes in the form of a button that allows users to smoothly adjust the zoom facility. As seen in the screenshot shared, there is a zoom button in the middle of the video recording start button and the front/rear camera adjustment button.
Currently, users have to hold down the camera button and swipe up and down to zoom in while recording. However, with this new feature, it will be possible to zoom in with a single move.
The camera zoom feature will be available for both video and photo shoots. The update, which will be available for iOS in the first phase, will be available to all iPhone users in the coming days. It is not yet clear when Android users will get this feature.
