Volkswagen to Introduce New Electric Model at CES 2023

Volkswagen is preparing to introduce its new model at the technology fair CES, where the electric models of the brands have appeared recently.

CES (Consumer Electronics Fair), held every year in January in the USA, has recently become the promotion address of electric vehicles of automobile giants.

At CES 2023, which will be held in Las Vegas in the first week of January, German giant Volkswagen will showcase its new electric model.

Although not much information is shared about the model to be introduced, the brand’s first electric sedan, which shared its images last June, is ID. A camouflaged version of Aero and its real name are expected to be announced.

Volkswagen ID is the name of the model that will hit the road as the brand’s first electric sedan, it is estimated to be 7.

CONCEPT MODEL INTRODUCED IN JUNE

Volkswagen, the last member of the ID family, ID. It introduced the concept model of AERO last June.

Volkswagen Passenger Car CEO Ralf Brandstätter, who gave information about the vehicle in the introduction, emphasized that the new model has an extremely aerodynamic design that stirs the emotions.

Brandstätter said, “As part of our ACCELERATE strategy, we are continuing the process of transitioning to electric with our product range at full speed. After ID.4, this model will be our next global car for Europe, China and the USA regions.”

620 KILOMETER RANGE

It was shared that the vehicle, which will be built on the MEB platform, has a friction coefficient of 0.23 with a 5-meter-long inclined coupe style and offers a range of up to 620 kilometers (WLTP) with a 77 kWh lithium-ion battery.
