A new approach is now being adopted against the exorbitant prices in the automotive sector. While a new decision was taken to extend the 6-month and 6 thousand kilometer limit in the past hours, an important regulation was made regarding the prices of second-hand cars.
Trade Minister Ömer Bolat made a statement to the journalists before the AK Party group meeting. Minister Bolat announced that the internet sales price of second-hand cars will not exceed the price of new cars.
Minister Bolat: “We Have Talked With Online Sales Platforms”
Minister Bolat said, “We talked to all online sales platforms regarding this issue. We expect prices to be fixed in July – August.” aforementioned.
The Ministry of Commerce also extended the regulation of 6 thousand kilometers for 6 months in the past hours. The revised scope also includes retail sales, which are now considered commercial activities.
