“Türkiye may have carried explosives to Ukraine”

Russian intelligence claimed that traces of explosives were detected in the vehicle that came to transport grain from Turkey to Russia.

There was a grain crisis last week as the war between Russia and Ukraine continued.

Russia had terminated the grain corridor agreement signed with Ukraine under the mediation of Turkey and the United Nations.

As the repercussions of this crisis continue, a new statement came from the Russian intelligence unit FSB today.

“Türkiye MAY HAVE CARRIED EXPLOSIVES TO UKRAINE”

In a statement quoted by the British news agency Reuters with the phrase “last minute”, the FSB made the statement, “Traces of explosives were detected in the vehicle that came from Turkey to transport grain to Rostov na Danu, Russia.”

Claiming that the ship previously had a crew of 12 Ukrainians, the FSB said, “These conditions open up the possibility of using a foreign civilian ship to deliver explosives to Ukrainian territory,” Reuters reported.

Unable to name the ship in question, the FSB stated that the ship was under investigation in the Kerch Strait of Crimea and was prevented from continuing on its way. The FSB noted that after the ship left Russian territorial waters.

Reuters also stated that it could not confirm the details of the FSB statement.

In the news quoted by the Russian news agency TASS, it was stated that the ship in question was anchored in the port of Kiliya, Ukraine in May, and that this ship may have carried explosives to Ukraine.
