Inflation figures for June were announced by TUIK and ENAG. According to the data of the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), inflation in June was 3.92% compared to the previous month, 19.77% compared to December of the previous year and 38.21% compared to the same month of the previous year. According to 12-month averages, it was announced as 59.95%.

Compared to the same month of the previous year, the group that showed the least increase was housing with 14.76%. For a long time, communication was the least increased group in this area. The group with the highest increase was restaurants and hotels with 67.22%. The group with the highest increase last month was restaurants and hotels.
The group that showed the least increase in June compared to the previous month was health with 1.21%. Again in June, the group that showed the highest increase compared to the previous month was alcoholic beverages and tobacco with 11.13%.

Inflation Research Group (ENAG), which includes academics and economists, also announced inflation data for May.
According to the Inflation Research Group (ENAG) data, the Consumer Price Index (E-CPI) increased by 8.54% on a monthly basis, while annual inflation was announced as 108.58%.
