Turkish Artistic Billiards National Team Won Gold Medal

Competing in the European Billiards Championship, the National Team defeated Spain 3-1 in the final and won the gold medal.

At the European Billiards Championship held in a hotel in Belek Tourism Center, the crescent-star team consisting of Hacı Arap Yaman and Barış Cin in the artistic national teams category faced Spain in the final.

The national team became the European champion by beating Spain 3-1.

Ersan Ercan, President of the Turkish Billiards Federation, congratulated the national athletes after the match.

“This is my second European championship”

Hacı Arap Yaman, one of the athletes of the Artistic National Team, stated that he became the European champion in the individual category the previous day and that he is happy to win the championship as a team today, and said:

“This was my second European championship. Previously, I had an individual European championship. Now we won the championship as a team with my friend Barış. We are very happy. We dedicate this success to our country.”

“Even though we were down 1-0, we were able to win the match 3-1”

Moon-star pool player Barış Cin also stated that they are happy to be champions as a team and used the following expressions:

“As the Turkish National Team, we formed a very good team with Hacı Arap Yaman. We played well, we fought well. Although we fell behind 1-0, we managed to win the match 3-1. We are very happy.”

The European Billiards Championship, attended by more than 500 athletes from 18 countries, will end on April 16.
