Turkey’s Men’s National Basketball Team’s opponent has been announced

In the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament, A National Men’s Basketball Team’s semi-final opponent was Sweden.

Group D matches of the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament hosted by Istanbul at Sinan Erdem Sports Hall were completed.

In the matches played yesterday, Croatia defeated the Netherlands 89-81, making 3 out of 3 and leading the group. In the last match of the day, Sweden defeated Belgium 79-78 in a highly contested match and finished the group in 2nd place.

After these results, the semi-final pairings were announced. A National Men’s Basketball Team, which finished as the leader of Group C, will face Sweden in the semifinals.

A National Team and Sweden will meet at Sinan Erdem Sports Hall on Friday, 18 August at 20:00.

Croatia, who made 3 out of 3 in Group D by beating the Netherlands 89-81 in their last game, will play against Ukraine, the runner-up of Group C, in the final.

Croatia-Ukraine match will be played on Friday, 18 August at 17:00.

The final of the tournament will be played on Sunday, 20 August at 20.00.
