Turkey Will Be a Pioneer in Herd Unmanned Sea Vehicles
The Turkish defense industry continues to produce new technologies in unmanned vehicles. The unmanned sea vehicle ALBATROS-S can now serve in a pack of 8 in Mavi Vatan.
It scans a wide area. It can be used in different areas such as target detection and tracking. The unmanned sea vehicle ALBATROS-S is now able to perform herd missions in the Blue Vatan.
Developed by ASELSAN, ALBATROS-S is an unmanned sea vehicle independent of central control. It can navigate in the sea without the need for user intervention.
Within the scope of the project, 8 herd architecture was also successfully implemented. 8 national Unmanned Sea Vehicles(USV) served jointly autonomously in the blue country.
“We Continue to Expand our Unmanned Sea Vehicles Family”
Defense Industry President İsmail Demir also made a statement. “We continue to develop high-autonomy unmanned sea vehicles and expand our USV family,” he said.
The Albatros-S Unmanned Sea Vehicle can also take part in the protection of high-value units such as ships carrying out hydrocarbon exploration activities.
