Koç University is a foundation university and the university started education in Istanbul in 1993. Gazi University
Gazi University is a state university in Ankara. It was founded in Ankara in 1926. In addition, Gazi University holds the title of being the first university of the republic. Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry, Education, Science, Engineering and Technology are important faculties. The university has campuses in Beşevler, Emek, Maltepe, Gölbaşı and Çubuk. Gazi University, which was founded in Ankara in 1926, continued its educational activities outside the province of Ankara, and established faculties, high schools and vocational high schools in these regions. Most of these schools formed the foundations of the new universities established in 2006.
