Last year, the domestic automobile manufacturer Togg started preparations to take part in the international market and started recruiting new personnel in the sales department. After the job advertisement opened on LinkedIn towards the end of last year, it became clear that the first stop would be Germany.
The Minister of Industry and Technology also made a statement after the job postings and said that Togg’s first exports abroad will start in 2025. Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır made new statements on the subject.
Togg will soon enter the European market
Kacır also made some statements about the Savings and Efficiency Package in the Public Sector. He emphasized that the necessary steps will be taken in line with the decision taken and that the use of domestic cars will be at the forefront in Turkey, especially in the public sector.
He also said that Togg’s entry into the German market will be at the beginning of 2025 and that they will enter the European market in this way. Mehmet Fatih Kacır included the following words in his statements:
“We are witnessing the birth of a brand that is leading the way to transform the entire industry. Togg will step into Germany at the beginning of 2025 and enter the European market. At the same time, the ‘fastback’ model, which was unveiled in Las Vegas in recent months, is also expected to hit the market. Togg will also have new breakthroughs in the coming period. On the one hand, software development continues. One of the latest innovations is face recognition.”
When the sales price of Togg in our country is evaluated on a euro basis, the T10X model is expected to have a price tag of 45,000 euros without tax, while the long-range version will have a price tag of 57,000 euros.
It remains to be seen whether the company will focus primarily on sales in Turkey or whether it will concentrate on international markets such as Germany.
