An important statement was made by the Minister of Industry and Technology, Mehmet Fatih Kacır, about the release date of the ToggSedan model. With the announcement, it became clear when the Sedan version of the electric car model will be released.
When is the Togg Sedan Model Release Date?
According to the news in Milliyet, Industry and Technology Minister Mehmet Fatih Kacır shared important information about when the new Sedan model will be released in CNN Türk’s live broadcast. Minister Kacır said, “A C class sedan will be released at the end of 2024. This will be followed by a B class vehicle,” Minister Kacır continued as follows:
“New models will be released every 1.5-2 years. Exports are very important. We are talking about a factory, but there are 100 factories behind that factory. And TOGG’s battery factory will be established. We have a 2030 target for charging stations, it should be 250 thousand. We are managing this process very carefully.”
Minister Kacır said, “Today, more than a thousand Toggs are traveling on the roads of Turkey. More than 23 thousand Toggs will be on the roads in 2023. Togg is more than a car. It is not possible for electric vehicles to become widespread without charging stations.”
“A new market is being established. We have started working on establishing charging stations in 81 provinces. The number of charging stations in 81 provinces has exceeded 1780. This number will increase even more.”
