Threads Gets Another Functional Feature
Threads, which does its best not to lose its users, is coming with a new feature. Will this feature attract the attention of users? Here is that feature!
Meta launched Threads in July to capitalize on specific problems on Elon Musk’s rival Twitter. It seemed to pay off as the app quickly became the fastest growing app in history, reaching 100 million users in just five days.
But at first, the app was lacking a lot. Over time, new features have been added to Threads and now another one is coming.
Keyword Update
Threads, which has seen a decline in the number of users due to initial shortcomings, is now preparing to make changes to keywords. Threads users will now be able to search for posts containing keywords. This functionality is already available on Twitter as well as the main Instagram app.
“Get excited, searches are coming to Threads,” the site wrote, and featured a picture of Vin Diesel with the words “I bet you’ll enjoy this.” Meta has been adding many of these features to Threads since its launch.
But the new features don’t seem to be stopping people from leaving the site. The data shows that the recently launched web version of Threads has done little to attract more users. The company is thinking about what more needs to be done to make people stay.
