The tax increase was reflected in the bridge and highway tolls!
The General Directorate of Highways reflected the tax increase as a hike in bridge and highway tolls. The toll on the 15 July Martyrs and Fatih Sultan Mehmet bridges has been increased from 8 TL 25 cents to 8 TL 50 cents for one-way vehicles.
The General Directorate of Highways (KGM) reflected the taxincrease in bridge and highway tolls as a raise.
NEW FEES ANNOUNCED
The toll on the 15 July Martyrs and Fatih Sultan Mehmet bridges has been increased from 8 TL 25 cents to 8 TL 50 cents for one-way vehicles. It increased from 10 TL 75 cents to 11 TL in light commercial vehicles, and from 3 TL 25 cents to 3 TL 50 cents in motorcycles.
- For automobiles;
- Ankara– Niğde Highway (Ankara Entrance, Niğde Gölcük exit) toll fee from 138.50 TL to 140 TL
- Osmangazi Bridge toll from 184.50 TL to 190 TL
- 1915 Çanakkale Bridge toll from 200 TL to 205 TL
- Malkara-Çanakkale Highway (Malkara entrance – 1915 Çanakkale Bridge exit) increased from 272.50 TL to 280 TL.
VAT RATE INCREASED
With the new additional taxdecision that came into effect last week, the 8 percenttax bracket applied to goods and services was increased to 10 percent and the 18 percent taxbracket to 20 percent. Thetax rate, which was 8 percent on hygiene products, was 20 percent, and the taxrate on gasoline, tobacco, alcohol and electronic devices was 20 percent.
