In 1933, many artists, scientists and politicians of Jewish origin fleeing the Nazi regime came to Turkey at Atatürk’s invitation. Some of the scientists who became Turkish citizens left very important works to the country. Researcher-Author Rifat Esen included 104 German Jews in his book “Heimatlos”, which means stateless.
