The PC Version of The Last of Us: Part 1 Is Slammed!
The Last of Us: Part 1, which made its PC debut the other day, is apparently one of Sony’s worst PC releases.
“The worst PC port I’ve ever seen. I’ve waited 10 years for the game, avoiding any instructive videos, reviews, spoilers and the like, and this port has ruined every ounce of my excitement for the game.” More than 3 thousand players agree with one of the players who said that, such that the reviews of the game are currently 32% mostly negative with 5 thousand reviews.
What Problems Are Users Having With The Game?
Some players in Steam reviews and The Last of Us Reddit community are reporting issues specifically with shaders, the game taking a long time to render them at startup and crashing in the process.
The Last of Us: Part 1 was delayed for a few weeks in February, and Naughty Dog said this extra time would allow them to make sure the PC release is “in the best possible condition” and “up to our standards”.
Sony has released several PC ports over the past two years, including series like God of War, Uncharted, and Spider-Man, and most of them were released in good condition.
