According to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute, the most preferred color of registered cars is no longer white. Gray color replaced white and took the lead in terms of preference.
According to the latest data released by TurkStat in July 2023, the most sold car color in Turkey has changed. This change in color preferences revealed interesting details.

Previously, white was the most preferred carcolor. However, white car sales started to decline between 2018 and 2022. From 55.6% in 2018, white car sales fell to 29.02% in 2023. In the same period, sales of gray cars increased from 21.7% to 29.2%.
With these results, gray cars surpassed white for the first time and became the most preferred color. There was also an increase in the preference for orange-colored cars. The preference for orange cars has increased from 0.7% to 2.54% in the last 5 years, making it a more preferred color.
