President Erdoğan announced that the 2023 minimum wage will be announced tomorrow (December 22). “Today we will meet with my minister and conclude,” Erdogan said.


Türk-İş Chairman Ergün Atalay made statements after the meeting. Atalay said, “A process that lasted for 20 days, friends held the third meeting. They invited me here. TÜRK-İŞ has been conducting research for 40 years. On the first day of the month, the hunger limit of TÜRK-İŞ is 7 thousand 785 TL, the poverty line is 10 thousand TL. We used the expression, TÜRK-İŞ’s offer has been said to be 7 thousand 785 TL for 20 days based on this statement. We have not had any offers until now. Now I have told the proposal to the Minister above, to the Commission. The official offer of TÜRK-İŞ is 9 thousand If they give, we sit at the table, negotiate and sign, if they don’t, we won’t be involved in this issue,” he said.
