The lake, which turns pink only in certain periods of the year and becomes popular due to the photos spread on social media, is frequented by visitors.
The pink and red tones caused by the excessive reproduction of microscopic plant life called “dunaliella salina” due to the increase in temperature and salinity give the lake a different appearance.
