The best-selling car brands in Turkey in September 2023 have been announced. The report shared by the Automotive Distributors and Mobility Association (ODMD) also includes some statistical information about the car sales in the last month.
List of the Best Selling Car Brands in September 2023
- Fiat: 15,537 units
- Renault: 11,714 units
- Ford: 7,023 units
- Volkswagen: 6,089 units
- Chery: 5,636 units
- Peugeot: 4,833 units
- Tesla 4,700 units
- Hyundai 4,501 units
- Citroen 3,950 units
- Mercedes-Benz 3,735 units
ODMD shared a report containing very important statistical information for September 2023. According to the shared report, the automobile and light commercial vehicle market increased by 55.9 percent in September 2023 compared to the same period last year. It was stated that the sales amount reached 96 thousand 793.
Car sales increased by 76.7 percent in September compared to the same period last year and increased to 78 thousand 971. Light commercial vehicle sales increased by 2.4 percent compared to September 2022. The sales amount was announced as 17 thousand 822 units.
Automobile and light commercial vehicle sales increased by 58.1 percent compared to the ten-year average sales in September. Considering the 10-year September average sales, car sales increased by 69.3 percent, while the light commercial vehicle market increased by 22.1 percent.
In the last month, a total of 15,537 Fiat brand vehicles, including passenger cars and light commercial vehicles, were sold. Fiat thus achieved a great success by being positioned in the first place of the list.
In second place on the list was Renault, which sold a total of 11,714 vehicles last month. In third place is Ford. The company managed to sell 7 thousand 23 vehicles last month. The list also includes many companies, including Chery, Volkswagen and Citroen.
