The beloved nostalgic MSN feature is coming to Instagram

Instagram brought the Note feature to the platform last December. The social media platform now brings a nostalgic feature that we know from MSN Messenger to the Notes section.
Since December, the Instagram Notes feature allows users to share short status updates with text and emoji on their profiles. Friends and followers can see these mini messages in their inbox. Now, Meta has announced that it will add “new” capabilities to this feature.

MSN touch to Instagram
Meta has announced that you can now add music to your Instagram Notes. According to the company, adding music to your notes will help you express yourself. Users will be able to share a short 30-second part of a song they want here. In addition to the music, you will also be able to write a message of up to 60 characters. Frankly, all these features bring to mind the “What am I listening to” feature in MSN Messenger. With this feature of MSN, you could show your friends the songs playing in applications like Winamp.
In addition, you will be able to translate notes with a tap. This can come in handy if one of your friends is writing notes in a language you don’t know well. Meta says many teens have embraced the Note feature. More than 100 million young people have shared at least one note in the past three months. With the additions of music and translation, the use of this feature can be expected to increase.
