Terrorist Attack At Istanbul Çağlayan Courthouse: 2 Terrorists Killed

Moments of the attempted armed attack on the police station at Çağlayan Courthouse have emerged. The moments when 2 attackers were neutralized were also captured on camera.

A terrorist attack took place in front of the Çağlayan Courthouse in Istanbul at noon.

Gunshots rang out during the busy entrances to the courthouse.

During the incident, which caused great fear, the teams immediately went on alert. Six people, including 3 police officers, were wounded in the attack attempt against the security point.

The moments of the attack were captured on camera for seconds.

The footage showed the moments when two attackers, one female and one male, were neutralized by the teams.

Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya made the following statements in his statement:

“Today at 11.46 pm, an attack was attempted on the checkpoint in front of Gate C of Istanbul Çağlayan Courthouse. 2 attackers, 1 female and 1 male, were captured dead. 5 people, including 3 police officers, were injured. I congratulate our heroic police officers.

We will continue to share the developments with the public.”

“It has been determined that they are members of the DHKP/C terrorist organization”

Yerlikaya shared the following information in another post:

Today, a terrorist attack was attempted against the checkpoint in front of Gate C of Çağlayan Courthouse.

It was determined that the traitors named E.Y. and P.B., who were neutralized, were members of the DHKP/C terrorist organization.

While the terrorists who attempted the attack were neutralized, 6 people, including 3 police officers and 3 citizens, were injured.

I wish a speedy recovery to our wounded.

Entrances And Exits Closed

Security measures were increased in the area. While the wounded were taken to the hospital, entrances and exits to the courthouse were closed.
