Gebze Technical University can be reached easily by public transportation vehicles coming from both Istanbul and Kocaeli directions to the campus. With the completion of the Marmaray line, which has two stations within the campus, it will be much easier to reach the campus.

The primary purpose of the School of Foreign Languages is to enable students who are new to Gebze Technical University with insufficient English knowledge to acquire their basic language skills through an intensive and high-quality education program and enable them to continue their undergraduate education effectively. In addition, the university acts with the mission of preparing an educational environment where the students can acquire and develop the language skills that may be required in their professional lives at the end of their university education.

The library serves in an indoor area of 4.177 square meters in Cayirova Campus. The Library Collection, which has developed rapidly in recent years, consists of 18,282 printed books, 4,654 printed theses, 216,343 electronic books, 46 databases, 55,923 electronic periodicals, 792 CDs, VCDs and DVDs.
