Study in Batman University

Batman is located in the East part of Turkey. Being a modern city with a population of 400,000, Batman stands out with its shopping malls, education and health services as well as other social facilities. Various artistic, cultural and sportive activities are carried out at the university in order to ensure the social development of the students as well as their academic life, to improve their self-confidence and to support their social life in healthy environments.The university has modern laboratories (cultural assets repair, computer, physics, chemistry, biology, geology, food, marbling, carpet weaving, etc.), which are very useful for the students and academic staff of the university. There are many application areas and workshops where technical schools can easily carry out their application lessons. With these opportunities, students who are placed in the departments are provided with practical training together with theoretical courses, so that they become more experienced in their fields after graduation. The Main Campus:

In the Main Campus of batman university, which is intertwined with the city, an additional building was built after 2008, the barracks and workshops were renovated, and landscaping was done. There are 2 buildings, 4 workshops, 7 prefabricated buildings and a total indoor area of 26,059 m2 on this campus. In this campus of Batman University, there are also sports complexes consisting of an astroturf pitch, tennis court, basketball-volleyball court and administrative building.

Batı Raman Campus:

Education activities continue in the buildings completed in Batman University Batı Raman Campus. The Central Laboratory building was renovated and put into service. The construction of indoor sports hall and outdoor sports facilities has been completed.

Kozluk Campus:

Kozluk Vocational School Campus is located in Kozluk District of Batman. It became operational in the 2018-2019 academic year.

Hasankeyf Campus:

The campus of the Batman University, which started operating in the 2018-2019 academic year, is located in Hasankeyf District of Batman. In addition, the construction of a 50-bed application hotel has been completed.

Accommadation:

Batman University has a girls’ dormitory, which consists of 1 block of social facilities and 3 blocks of buildings under the Credit Dormitories Institution (KYK) in the Batı Raman Campus of the university. The dormitory has a capacity of 750 students with 2-person rooms. In the city center, there is a male student dormitory with a capacity of 600 students, affiliated to the Credit and Hostels Institution (KYK). There are also private dormitories and pensions in the city center. Batman is an economical city and some of the students stay in rented student houses.

Transportation:

The Main Campus is in the center of Batman and can be easily reached by public transportation. Batman University Batı Raman Campus is located in the Batı Raman area of Batman. Transportation is possible by public transport in the city. Kozluk Campus The Kozluk Vocational School Campus, which is under construction, is located in the Kozluk District of Batman. It is possible to reach by shuttle and minibuses. Hasankeyf Campus The campus under construction is located in Hasankeyf District of Batman. It is possible to reach by shuttle and minibuses.

Prep. School:

The department was established under the Batman University Rectorate. The department has started to coordinate and conduct English lessons in the central units of our university.

The Library:

The necessary infrastructure work has been completed for university academicians and students to easily access the information they need. You can use the electronic resources subscribed by Batman University Library with IP-controlled machines in Batı Raman and Main Campuses.
