Sony has launched its new virtual reality title PlayStation VR2. The company introduced PlayStation VR2 exactly one year ago on February 22, 2022, and the title is now available for purchase in some countries around the world.
PlayStation VR2 is available for sale starting February 22, 2023. The device can be purchased from the PlayStation online store in countries such as the USA, UK, France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg.
Number of Games Supporting PlayStation VR2 Increases to 40
The price was announced as 550 dollars for the USA and 600 euros for France. The PlayStation VR2 Horizon Call of the Mountain package will cost $600/euro, and the charging station for the PlayStation VR2 Sense controller will cost $50/euro.
The PS VR2 headset offers 4K HDR resolution and 110-degree viewing angles, while the OLED displays each offer a resolution of 2,000 x 2040 pixels and support frame rates of 90 and 120Hz. In addition to all these, Sony increased the number of games that can be played with PlayStation VR2 to 40.
