The crisis continues in Asia Pacific. Shi Yi, the spokesperson of the Eastern Front Command (ETC), affiliated with the People’s Liberation Army of China (PLA), announced that a war preparation patrol and military exercise were started in the airspace in the north, south and south of Taiwan.

‘CHINA USES TSAI’S VISIT TO THE USA AS AN EXCUSE’

Taiwan’s Ministry of Defense, on the other hand, reported the situation in the Taiwan Strait, saying that China used Tsai’s visit to the United States as “an excuse” to conduct military exercises that seriously harm regional peace, stability and security.

The military will respond in a calm, rational and serious manner and will monitor the situation in accordance with its principles to defend national sovereignty and national security.

US VISIT ALERTS FROM CHINA

The Beijing administration warned Taiwan before the Taiwan leader Tsai’s meeting with the Speaker of the US House of Representatives Kevin McCarthy in Los Angeles. Zhu Fenglia, spokesman for China’s Taiwan Affairs Office, said in a statement: “We are absolutely against the meeting and will take all necessary measures to oppose it decisively.”
