Despite the persuasion efforts of the police, 20-year-old A.E. immersed himself in the void. The woman, who was injured by falling from a height of tens of meters on the canvas opened by the firefighters, was taken to the hospital to be treated. Police launched an investigation into the incident.
Citizens who saw that A.E. jumped over the concrete railings on the terrace on the 16th floor of the hotel, which was closed for use, reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center.
Police, ambulance and fire crews were dispatched to the address upon the notice.
While the police teams went up to the 16th floor where A.E. was located, the firefighters opened a tarpaulin on the ground and closed the street to vehicle and pedestrian traffic in case the woman jumped.
A.E., who attempted suicide, was tried to be persuaded for about 1.5 hours.
Not responding to the persuasion efforts of the teams, A.E. left himself tens of meters above the hotel’s car park roof.
The first response to A.E., who miraculously fell on the tarpaulin opened by the firefighters, was made at the scene.
