Search for missing German tourist with a team of 250 people
Annegret Kandzorra, a 72-year-old German tourist who has not been heard from for 4 days in Antalya’s Alanya district, is being searched by a team of 250 people.
Annegret Kandzorra, 72, who came to the district for vacation, left the hotel where she stayed in İncekum Neighborhood on August 18 for sightseeing.
After the tourist did not return to the hotel, her daughter asked for help from the authorities.
District Gendarmerie Command teams started a search for the German woman.
A team of about 250 people from AFAD, Alanya IHH Search and Rescue and Manavgat Emergency Air Rescue (AHK), accompanied by Gendarmerie Search and Rescue (JAK) dogs, continue their search for the tourist.
Alanya IHH Search and Rescue officer Ramazan Başkan said in a statement that they started searching from the point where the woman was last seen from the camera recordings.
Stating that they scanned near and far areas, landing areas, water channels and especially high areas in detail, Başkan said, “All teams are working devotedly. We plan to continue the search until she is found. The area we scanned is about 15 kilometers. The last images were detected on the road. All regions are being examined. In addition, passing vehicles are also being monitored.”
