The government, which presented the proposal to the Parliament the previous day, which envisages an increase in the special consumption tax (SCT) on fuel products at the rate of producer inflation every 6 months, has made a new tax increase in fuel today.
As of Sunday, July 16 , a 5 TL SCT hike was made per liter of fuel products. The SCT amount charged over the liter price of gasolne increased from 2.52 TL to 7.52 TL , and the SCT amount charged over the liter price of disel oil increased from 2.05 TL to 7.05 TL . The SCT amount taken from autogas was 5.77 TL .
